About Commissions
I have been known to do writing commissions on occasion. If you've got characters you'd like to see in a story, if you're in a mood for something really specific, if you're looking for something really out of the box that just hasn't been written yet - sometimes the easiest thing to do is commission a writer. I am no longer doing commissions full time, which is why I do not have rates posted. Please do not email me asking what my rates are. I do not have them. My favorite thing about not doing full time commissions is that I am no longer responsible for figuring out pricing. I take bribe slots now, which essentially means that you make an offer when you send your request.
All my commission information is featured below. If you notice the bribe slots are full, you are still absolutely free to send queries and requests. Any questions will be answered and any requests (if accepted) shall be put on my waiting list.

Client satisfaction is very important to me.
Please keep in mind, that it's still 100% non-refundable.
It's not that I'm trying to be mean, but giving refunds costs me money and I can't afford to do it.
I've been burned a lot in the past and now that I'm not working full-time, I literally cannot afford refunds.
Thank you for your understanding.
I ask that payments be made via Paypal.
I have also been known to accept Amazon giftcards.

What I Won't Write

The following things are totally fine:

*Remember that there's a difference between having a character that has issues with a specific group - and having an entire piece that's against a certain group of people. For instance a character can hate women, and that's one thing. If the story you want would put all women in a bad light however, I won't write it. |
If you have any questions or are uncertain about something you'd like written, feel free to contact me and ask. The same goes for if you think something might offend me, it never hurts to shoot me an email

If you want me to review something that's been published or is for sale or even content that's not yours, feel free to request but keep the following things in mind:
- If you're offering me less money than it would cost me to buy/rent/stream the item in question, the request will be rejected.

- Promotions are not necessarily included with reviews.

I will do story edits and project consultations upon request but I ask you to keep the following things in mind:
I am not a professional editor.
My feedback is based off of opinion.
If I consult on a project, that does not mean I will do all the work for you.
I do expect to be credited for major edits/rewrites and consultation.

How to Request:
Email me at [email protected] with the subject line: Commission Request
I don't have a strict format of what to include in your request but the section below outlines what basic information I need.
Please do not send me a giant wall of text. The easier your request is to read, the more I'll consider accepting it.

If I wanted to set my own prices, I would do so. These are bribe slots, so bribe me.

Testimonials
"I've been working with Cat about a year and a half now, and I find myself unable to say that I've met someone more respectful, polite, or hardworking as her. She's diligent in giving updates about her work and makes a point to inform me if something is about to get in the way of her writing. She's flexible and can easily remember small instructions such as "please send the commission over email instead" and such.
On Cat's Writing: I would say that the stories I've been getting from Cat have been getting better and better. The most recent ones she sent me had me squirming in my place because I couldn't believe how well she worded everything. I've never met a writer who could make me feel so many emotions at once with just a paragraph. I often print out what she gives me and show it to all my friends. If I could have her stories made into a book, I would certainly do it."

"Where do I start with Cat? In the ten years I have known her I know one thing for certain: she never disappoints. Her writing is easily some of my favorite of all I've read, even against published authors. She writes in a way that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, wanting the next sentence before the one they're on has even ended. Her descriptions create the world which she strives to portray, her plots are driven to the very end.
As a person, Cat is brilliant. She's witty and takes on any challenge given to her, no matter how difficult or strange. She works to be the very best, working late into the night without hesitation when she needs to. Her passion is unmatched and it shines through in her writing. While some think her methods are a bit odd and unorthodox, I can honestly say I've never met a more fantastic and interesting person."
