What happened to the commission site?
The commission site that used to be here was taken down. I chose to do this because as I'm no longer taking commissions full-time, I thought a site dedicated to promoting all my projects in one place might be a better use of a domain name and the time it takes to run.
Do you still take commission requests?
I have a number of bribe slots open and I do occasionally accept commission requests. The information for that can be found on my commission page.
What's the difference between a regular commission slot and a bribe slot?
There's no real difference other than I no longer have prices or rates listed. Instead of charging clients at a fixed rate, people are now expected to make offers when submitting requests. It saves me time trying to adjust my rates to reflect my current time constraints and experience level - and it makes the whole process less stressful for me, allowing me to continue doing commissions with a cheerful attitude.
Why is it called chapter 16?
Chapter 16 is the name that I chose for my site back when it was still geared toward commissions. I deterred from that briefly when I changed the content I had on here, but nothing felt right so I cycled back to "Chapter 16" and am now confident that it is the right choice.
As for how I came up with the name, it's essentially the same way I come up with everything. It's an obscure reference to a song I like.

Are you looking for collaborators?
I get this question a lot and to be honest, I don't know what it means. So far every person that has asked and then explained it has meant something different.
If you're asking if I personally am open to collaborations where you and I would be creative equals and work on a project together AND you already have something in mind, the answer is always yes. Contact me to discuss it.
If you're asking if I'm looking for additional writers for any of my current projects - the answer is currently no. However if you'd like to share some of your work with me, get some general feedback, or ask about having me promote you, contact me. Also, consider submitting some of your work to Toxic Bubblegum - which is in an open submission period and looking for both artists and writers to feature.
If you're an artist and want to work for me for free, in the form of an art trade, or in exchange for promotion on one or all of my blogs, you're probably my favorite person and you should contact me immediately because where have you been my entire life?
If you're an artist who is ready to commit to a serious, long-term working relationship and would be interested in doing a web-comic, a graphic novel or a series of illustrated stories - I've been looking for you. Keep in mind, I have no money, I can't pay you, but I'm looking for additional artists to collaborate with and if you put in the time and effort to making one of my crazy pipe-dream collaborations real, you'll get all sorts of promotions during the time we work together (for your sites, art, other projects) and assuming that I'm able to turn our project into something profitable (big if) you will of course be in on those profits. Contact me.
If you're a voice-actor (or creepypasta narrator) and are looking for something to narrate (or want me to write some sort of bad-ass radio drama/podcast type thing for you) that sounds awesome. Get in touch with me.
If you have a project and are looking for a writer - I'm totally open to it. Contact me to let me know what it's all about and see if I might be a good fit.
To sum up this entire rant, I guess just contact me.

Do you have anything for sale?
I get this question a lot and it always surprises me. Most of the time I'm begging people to read my stuff, so it always blindsides me when people ask if they can pay for my work.
No, sadly. I don't have any of my individual work for sale....yet.
Keep checking in though. First of all, it makes me really happy knowing it's something people would be interested in. Second, your support (moral and financial) means the world to me. Third, I have some stuff in the works. Since this is a free domain name I can't sell stuff directly from this site but if and when I do start having merch available I will definitely link it on this site and promote it on my blog (and probably on all my social media as well.) I have a handful of pieces that are being considered for magazines and anthologies and I'm looking into self-publishing one of my manuscripts which will be available for purchase in hard-copy or as an e-book from Amazon. I really do have stuff on the way - and in the meantime encouragement from my readers makes all the difference.
If you really like what I do here, or anywhere, you are however free to use this link to buy me a coffee!
You could also consider become a Patron of Toxic Bubblegum. I don't really keep the profits from that, but they go toward supporting and promoting other creators.
